CONSTELLATION PROJECT PATHFINDER

 

 

This pathfinder will guide you to appropriate and useful library resources for your constellation report. You will find many print sources in both the circulating and reference mythology (290s) and astronomy sections (520s), as well as in general reference books such as encyclopedias. Don’t forget to use the index, and remember to get information for your bibliography from each source that you use, including the internet. Have fun and enjoy the journey.

 

REFERENCE BOOKS

The following general encyclopedias will be most helpful when researching the constellations:

            Academic American Encyclopedia

            Collier’s Encyclopedia

            World Book

Also located in the reference section is the subject encyclopedia, Encyclopedia of Mythology REF 291 L. In these books you will have to use the index to find all the information about your constellation and its mythology. Our library also has science encyclopedias. Look in The Dorling Kindersley Science Encyclopedia REF 500 D, the Visual Encyclopedia of Science, andthe New Book of Popular Science REF 500 NEW v. 1.
