CONSTELLATION PROJECT
PATHFINDER
This
pathfinder will guide you to appropriate and useful library resources for your
constellation report. You will find many print sources in both the circulating
and reference mythology (290s) and astronomy sections (520s), as well as in
general reference books such as encyclopedias. Don’t forget to use the index,
and remember to get information for your bibliography from each source that you
use, including the internet. Have fun and enjoy the journey.
The
following general encyclopedias will be most helpful when researching the
constellations:
Academic American Encyclopedia
Collier’s Encyclopedia
World Book
Also
located in the reference section is the subject encyclopedia, Encyclopedia
of Mythology REF 291 L. In these books you will have to use the index to
find all the information about your constellation and its mythology. Our
library also has science encyclopedias. Look in The Dorling Kindersley
Science Encyclopedia REF 500 D, the Visual Encyclopedia of Science, andthe
New Book of Popular Science REF 500 NEW v. 1.
