District Portfolio Reflection Prompt
For any portfolio assignment to be valid, you must write a reflection for each assignment.  A reflection is a minimum of three paragraphs that includes the following:

Paragraph 1:    
What course was this assignment for?  
What is the name of the assignment?  
What type of assignment/artifact did you produce (Project, On-Demand Task, Essay, Lab, Research Paper, Lab Report, etc.)?  
What were the assignment instructions?  
What steps did you take to complete this assignment?  
What academic skills did this assignment require you to demonstrate?

Paragraph 2:   
Was your work on this assignment deemed proficient?  
What Content Standard and/or Grade Span Expectations along with Academic Expectations for Learning does this assignment meet?  
How does your completed work meet these expectations?  
What were your strengths in completing this assignment?  
What were your challenges?  
How will you overcome these types of challenges in the future?

Paragraph 3:    
How could you use the skills attained in this assignment in either your academic, career, and/or personal/social future?


Proofread and edit all work before you submit this with your portfolio assignment.
