Reading Week 2008
March 31 - April 4
Dear Families,
We will be celebrating Reading Week during the week of March 31 – April 4. Many guest readers will be here to share their love of reading with our students. Other special activities are being planned. More information will follow.
Our culminating event will be a dress up day where the children will dress as their favorite character from a book that they have read this year. The costumes you create with your child should include the name of the author, book, and of the character. Please do not allow your child to wear his/her Halloween costume. All costumes must be appropriate for elementary school children. We will all meet in the all purpose room on Friday afternoon April 4 to share our costumes.
