Dear Cedar Hill Families:
Below you will find an announcement from our VOWS office looking for volunteers to conduct child outreach screenings. We are in particular need of additional screeners here at Cedar Hill as to date only two individuals have expressed an interest.
All volunteers will be provided with the necessary training to conduct screenings for incoming Cedar Hill kindergarteners (done in the spring) and would be given additional opportunities to conduct screenings with other pre-school aged children in Warwick.
Cedar Hill could use your expertise so if you've got some time and are willing to help please consider contacting either Lynn Cuddy (885-6346) or Julie Hayes (884-2345), your Cedar Hill VOWS Coordinators, or Dolores Hyle (734-3230), the Child Outreach Project Director in the VOWS office, for more information.

CHILD OUTREACH SCREENERS
CHILD OUTREACH: Volunteers are needed to administer the ESI Preschool and Kindergarten Developmental Screening Tests. Training and Certification is provided to all volunteers through a cooperative effort of VOWS and the Child Outreach Department of Warwick Public Schools. Developmental Screening is offered free of charge to all incoming Kindergarten students. Two training sessions are offered, and each session will take place on two consecutive days: October 19 & 20, 2009 or October 22 & 23, 2009. The training will begin at 9:30 am until 2:00 pm and will be held at Drum Rock Early Childhood Center. Lunch will be provided. Please
